Skywalker Hughes, a dual American and Canadian citizen, found her love of acting at a very young age. By the age of 7 she was writing, casting and directing her own scripts! Having worked nonstop, since signing with an agent in early 2021, Skywalker has made a name for herself as a young actor working alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood and has several exciting projects in the works! Her professional career took off when she began auditioning and was almost immediately cast as Sheridan Pickett, a series regular, on the new Paramount Plus mystery series, "Joe Pickett (2021)", which is based on the New York Time's bestselling book series penned by author, C.J. Box. "Joe Pickett (2021)" became the "Most-Watched Series of All Time" on the Spectrum streaming service and was quickly renewed for a second season. Shortly after renewal it was purchased by Paramount Plus. In early 2022 Skywalker was cast in the lead role of Ashley Schmitt on the Lionsgate feature film 'Ordinary Angels' opposite Hilary Swank and Alan Ritchson. Currently the film is set to hit theaters on October 13th, 2023! By the time Season 2 of "Joe Pickett (2021)" had finished filming in late 2022 Skywalker had already landed another series lead on the highly acclaimed Fox anthology series, 'Accused'. She stars alongside Oscar winner Keith Carradine (The Power of the Dog) in the season finale as the series' first lead young actor! Additionally, as a voiceover artist, she can soon be seen singing and acting as part of the main cast of Season 5 of the hit animated series Blues Clues and You!! She also guest stars as Frankie on Season 9 of Nickelodeon's hit series series 'Paw Patrol' and plays another lead role on a popular children's series that is yet to be announced. Skywalker is capturing the hearts of many in the film and television industry! When she is not acting you will find her dancing and singing, riding a horse or writing a script with her best friends.
